LanZing.net High Speed Software
(For Windows XP users)
Summary: How do I download the software
to use the High Speed service?
OVERVIEW
In order to use the High Speed service, you will need
two things:
- An LanZing.Net High Speed account
- The High Speed software must be installed and
correctly configured on your computer.
This article walks you through downloading the
LanZing.Net High Speed software on your computer. You
will still have to be signed up for a High Speed account
for the software to work properly.
After the downloading steps have been completed, run
the software. More information on how to install the

HOW-TO
- Go to the LanZing.Net website at
www.lanzing.net.
- Click the Download Software button in the
upper right of the page.
- Under the Software to Download section, click
Zing Accelerator.
- Log in using your dialup username.
- If you have not yet added High Speed to your
account, i.e. if you have a regular account, you will be
given the opportunity to upgrade your service at this
time.
Click Check this box if you want to add this
service and agree to the price above.
If you already have a High Speed account, go to the
next step.
- Click the link that says Click Here To Download.
- A File Download window will open asking if you would
like to Save or Open the file. In most
cases, you will want to click Open.
If you would like to save the file for later use,
click Save.
- Wait for the file to download. You should see a
window that looks like this:
- At the end of the download, the install will begin
automatically.
NOTE: If you clicked Save above,
instead of Open, another window will appear at
the end of the download, and you will have to click
Open to start the installation.
